About Assessment Psychology
We provide thorough, neuroaffirming adult ADHD and autism assessments, delivered by AHPRA-registered psychologists via telehealth, Australia-wide.
Our Approach
We take a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach to assessment. We describe ADHD and autism as neurotypes and differences rather than deficits to be fixed, and we aim to understand each person's traits and experiences in the context of their whole life, not just a checklist of criteria. Our psychologists listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and create a comfortable space for you to talk about your experiences openly.
A thorough assessment combines your history and current experiences with recognised, standardised tools. We aim to give you clarity, whatever the outcome, along with a written report that reflects your individual profile.
Who Conducts Our Assessments
Every assessment is conducted by a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Our team works to a consistent, thorough assessment process, so you can expect the same standard of care and the same quality of written report regardless of who on our team you speak with.
AHPRA-Registered
All psychologists on our team hold current AHPRA registration.
Team-Based Care
A consistent process across our whole team, not tied to one individual.
Ongoing Training
Our team keeps pace with current neuroaffirming assessment practice.
Who We Help
We work with adults aged 18 and over. Some of the people we see have wondered about ADHD or autism for years and are ready for clarity. Some were missed earlier in life. Others are seeking a written report to access support at university or in the workplace. You're welcome to refer yourself · no GP referral is required to book an assessment with us.
Telehealth, Australia-Wide
Our assessments are delivered entirely by telehealth, anywhere in Australia. Every assessment follows the same thorough process, is conducted by the same AHPRA-registered psychologists, and results in the same detailed written report.
